Admission to the social will include a wine and cheese reception, with Vint Hill Craft Winery wines available for purchase by the glass or bottle. Price of admission includes light hor d'oeuvres, lemonade, DJ dancing from 7 to 7:45 pm, two hours of live big band music by the Silver Tones starting at 7:45 pm, and dessert at the band break. Bottles of wine from the Vint Hill Craft Winery feature pinup girls from the WWII era, so pinup girl attire and 1940s dress is encouraged. Limited tickets are available, so buy today HERE! Tickets are $25 in advance and $30 at the door (if available).

The 4th annual RVA Big Band Weekend will take place over the weekend of June 2nd and 3rd, 2023.
This year the weekend will feature three big bands! On Friday, June 2nd, Glen Boswick and the Sound of Swing along with Joe Enroughty and His Royal Virginians will take the stage to provide two dance sets each. On Saturday, the Silver Tones will play three sets starting at 7 pm. Both nights, doors open at 5:30 pm, dinner is served at 6:00 pm, and there will be a dance lesson with Gwendolyn Glenn at 6:30 pm. Scott Michaels, host of the syndicated Big Band radio show "In The Mood With Scott Michaels," will be on hand to emcee both evenings of dancing. Before May 1, tickets are $25 dancing only per night; $55 dinner and dancing; $100 full weekend package (includes dinner and dancing both nights). After May 1, tickets sales increase to $30 dancing only, $65 dinner and dancing per night. Bottled water will be available throughout both evenings. For tickets, click HERE.

The Silver Belles vocal trio and Gene Bates are happy to support this important cause with some great swing music. The vocalists of the Silver Tones will do one long set of music starting at 4 pm. Swing lovers and concertgoers are invited to bring a chair and come out to listen or dance in support of the American Cancer Society and Relay for Life. Relay for Life events include teams of cancer survivors, caregivers, and supporters taking turns walking around the designated path. Prince William Relay for Life event will have fun games, themed laps, activities, music, and more! But every Relay For Life event shares the same goal — to take down our biggest rival, cancer. This Relay for Life of Prince William event will run from 3 pm to 9 pm at the Harris Pavilion in Old Town Manassas. Relay For Life is a community-based fundraising event for the American Cancer Society. Its mission is to save lives, celebrate lives, and lead the fight for a world without cancer. Whether it’s fueling breakthrough research or providing essential services throughout someone’s cancer journey, our fundraising makes a real difference in the fight against cancer.

The band will be playing two longs play sets, and there will be audience seating for those who wish to just enjoy the music and watch the dancing. There will be a beginner dance lesson at 7 pm, to get all the gals and ghouls ready to swing! Costumes are encouraged but not required for attendance, but there will be a prize for best costume, so get creative! General admission is $15 in advance and $20 at the door. Seniors (65 and older) and students (with ID) are $10. Kids 5 and under are free. Tickets will go on sale September 1, 2023.
