This elegant event at the Kena Shrine will be open to the public. The evening will begin with a social hour from 5 to 6 pm, followed by dinner from 6 to 7 pm. Presentations will happen from 7 to 8 pm, followed by three sets of dance music with the Silver Tones from 8 to 11 pm! The Silver Tones Swing Band returns to Dance Club Shenandoah in May 2026! The band will be playing plenty of high-octave swing, in addition to other dance styles like cha-cha, rhumba, waltz, and salsa! Come out and enjoy three sets of dance music starting at 7:00 pm. The dance-hall features a beautiful wooden floor, pictured here. Doors open at 6:30 pm. Silver Tones play from 7:00 to 10:00 pm. All sales for non-club members are $30 cash at the door.​ Students are $15.

Sentimental Journey Swing Dance

Step back in time with the classic music from the 1940s and 1950s on Saturday, June 13, at the Warrenton-Fauquier Airport. Come dress in your best vintage attire and enjoy a performance with the 17-piece Silver Tones Swing Band and their Andrews Sisters vocal trio, the Silver Belles. The Silver Belles will perform Andrews Sisters classics like Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy, Rum and Coca-Cola, Don't Sit Under the Apple Tree, and more. The band and solo vocalists Gene Bates and Wendy Marie will recreate the music of Ella Fitzgerald, Frank Sinatra, Nat King Cole, Doris Day, Rosemary Clooney, and other musical greats, including artists like Glenn Miller, Count Basie, Artie Shaw, and Tommy Dorsey. The backdrop for the concert and dance-floor will include the WWII combat aircraft the B-17G Bomber “Sentimental Journey” and the B-25J Bomber “Maid in the Shade” of the Flying Legends of Victory Tour by the Arizona Airbase of the Commemorative Air Force. For information on the 2026 Flying Legend Victory Tour, click HERE. This event is free and open to the public. Refreshments will be available for a donation. ** The dance space for this event is inside the terminal, air-conditioned, and on a smooth concrete floor. The WWII aircraft will be on display directly outside and will make for great photos! **​

The Silver Tones Swing Band is honored to partner with the Windmore Center for the Arts this July, to bring audiences a spectacular swinging big band show celebrating 250 years of America. What better way to celebrate this important birthday than to recreate the nostalgic music of the Big Band era. "America Swings!"  will feature the 18-piece Silver Tones orchestra and vocalists Wendy Marie, Gene Bates, and the Silver Belles trio, who will recreate the famous music of Glenn Miller, the Andrews Sisters, Ella Fitzgerald, Frank Sinatra, Nat King Cole, Count Basie, and so many others. Guests are invited to dress in vintage style, as we step back in time to celebrate these musical greats. Concessions will be available for purchase, and there will be a small, carpeted area for dancing. Tickets are $20 in advance and $30 at the door (as available). Advance purchase is recommended. Galloping Gatsby Fundraiser Dance at Winery at La Grange

Giddy-up and head down to the Galloping Gatsby fundraiser dance, where the wine will be flowing and the music will be roaring with 1920s style! The evening will begin with a swing dance lesson, teaching the basic swing moves to get everyone on the floor. There will also be a raffle, a silent auction, delicious wines for purchase from the Winery at La Grange, refreshments, and two hours of hot swing hits by the Silver Tones! There’s sure to be fun for everyone, all in support of Nadia's Hope Equine Rescue. The Winery at LaGrange has a great wooden dance-floor in their event center.
