Get your dancing shoes on and get ready to party to lively big band swing music and golden oldies! The Silver Tones Swing Band takes the stage at 6:30 pm on the first Friday in June. Come early and explore the beautiful historic Winchester downtown pedestrian mall, adjacent to the Taylor Pavilion. Enjoy displays and demonstrations by local artists and street performers, then stop in one of the many delicious eateries and pick up a dinner and beverage to enjoy during the concert. This event is completely free to the public and made possible by Friends of Old Town. Don't forget your blanket or chair!

The Piedmont Symphony Orchestra joins forces once again with the Silver Tones Swing Band for a high-octane collaboration of patriotic works and Big Band hits of the era. This performance celebrates the anniversary of V-Day, marking the end of WWII, and is a tribute to those who have served! Step back in time with the classic music of the 1940s and 1950s Big Band era on Saturday, July 12, at the Warrenton-Fauquier Airport. Come dress in your best vintage attire and enjoy a performance with the 18-piece Silver Tones Swing Band and their Andrews Sisters vocal trio, the Silver Belles. The band and solo vocalists Gene Bates and Wendy Marie will recreate the music of Big Band greats from the day, including Frank Sinatra, Ella Fitzgerald, Nat King Cole, Peggy Lee, Bobby Darin, and others. The Silver Belles will perform Andrews Sisters classics like Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy, Rum and Coca-Cola, Don't Sit Under the Apple Tree, and more! The backdrop for the concert and dance-floor will include vintage aircraft, including a TBM-3 Avenger, a BT-13 Radial Engine Trainer, an L-5 Sentinel, a UC-61 Fairchild Forwarder, a Stearman Bi-Plane, a Piper Cub, and other WWII Vintage aircraft. All ticket sales will be at the door (cash only). $15 individual tickets; $25 per couple. Refreshments will be available for sale. ** The dance space for this event is inside the terminal, air-conditioned, and on a smooth concrete floor. The aircraft will be on display directly outside and will make for great photos! **

The Silver Tones Swing Band is coming to Christian Fellowship Church (CFC) in Ashburn, Virginia, on July 27 for a swinging musical concert to benefit local high school music and theater programs. CFC will be asking for a "suggested" donation of $10 per person with registration. Register HERE. There will be plenty of audience seating and a designated dance-space, so mark your calendars and join us! This is an inside, air-conditioned performance.

The Fredericksburg Agricultural Fair was established in 1738 and is the oldest fair in Virginia, and even the United States!
The Silver Tones are excited to be the headlining act on Saturday of the Fair! Admission is only $15 for ages 4 to 59 or $10 for ages 60 and over. Kids 3 and under are free. Come out and enjoy three sets of dance music starting at 7:00 pm.

Enjoy a beautiful wood dance-floor that surrounds the stage, a dance lesson from 6:30 to 7 pm, and two hours of live swing music by the Silver Tones Swing Band. The September 5 First Friday will get started at 5:30 pm, with vendors, beer and wine garden, and food trucks ready to go. Music by the Silver Tones Swing Band, the Silver Belles, Wendy Marie, and Gene Bates will start at 6 pm and run until 9 pm. The band will be set up on the corner of Main Street and Fifth Street, close to Great Harvest Bread Company. Bring a chair and your dancing shoes, and come enjoy an evening out in beautiful historic downtown Warrenton!

Garden Night at the Museum takes place in the beautiful setting of the Kaylor Rose Garden at the Washington County Museum of Fine Arts. The event starts at 5 pm and the Silver Tones take the stage from 5:45 to 8 pm. This event is rain or shine and will take place inside in the case of inclement weather. This dance is free and open to the public. Join the Silver Tones as they return for an evening under the stars in Manassas! Guests are encouraged to bring their dinner and chairs/blankets and dine on the lawn or in the covered pavilion. Some chairs and tables will be provided. The band, Wendy Marie, Gene Bates, and the Silver Belles vocal trio will be performing two long sets of great swing music, and there will be plenty of space for dancing!​

Come out and join the Silver Tones Swing Band, Wendy Marie, Gene Bates, and the Silver Belles vocal trio for some spook-tacular fun with hot big band swing! The band will be playing two longs play sets, and there will be audience seating for those who wish to just enjoy the music and watch the dancing. There will be a beginner dance lesson at 7:00 pm, to get all the gals and ghouls ready to swing! Costumes are encouraged but not required for attendance, but there will be a prize for best costume, so get creative! General admission is $19.50 in advance and $25 at the door. Seniors (65 and older) and students (with ID) are $15 at the door. Kids 5 and under are free. Tickets will go on sale September 1. The dance surface at the Warrenton UMC Memorial Hall is a polished tile floor. Happy Halloween!
