​The Silver Tones return to Gloria's to celebrate the first day of spring with great big band swing music! At this special performance, the band will feature their 10-piece swing orchestra, solo vocalists Wendy Marie and Gene Bates, and the Silver Belles vocal trio. The Silver Belles recreate the classic music of the Andrews Sisters and enhance other songs with their rich three-part harmonies. The Silver Tones will be playing big band hits like New York, New York, Mambo Italiano, Jumpin’ at the Woodside, Sentimental Journey, Peppermint Twist, Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy, Route 66, and so many others. Beer, wine, and light snacks will be available for purchase. Socially distanced seating is extremely limited, so get your tickets today: $20 in advance and $25 at the door. The venue will be at 30% capacity, per the current guidelines in place. Please follow social distance and face masks guidelines.

​The Silver Tones return to Gloria's to celebrate love with great big band swing. At this special performance, the band will feature their 10-piece swing orchestra and jazz vocalists. Guests will have the opportunity to make a free song dedication to someone special. Vocalists Wendy Marie and Gene Bates will recreate classic love songs made famous by Ella Fitzgerald, Nat King Cole, Frank Sinatra, and Bette Midler, among others. Song selections will include L-O-V-E, Too Darn Hot, Beyond the Sea, You Make Me Feel So Young, The Way You Look Tonight, Unforgettable, Shout, and more! The Silver Belles vocal trio will be serenading the audience with romantic three-part harmonies and Andrews Sisters favorites. Beer, wine, and light snacks will be available for purchase. The B-17 Bomber “Sentimental Journey” will be in Warrenton, Virginia, August 31 to September 7, 2020. One of the rarest historical military planes in the world will be near you for an unforgettable Labor Day Weekend! Come see it up close and personal, and better yet fly in it! On Labor Day Monday, the Silver Tones Swing Band will provide WWII music as the backdrop to this historic aircraft. Around 1 pm, the band will play a concert under the wing of the aircraft, after its final flight of the day. Bring your own chairs and enjoy a concert by the band and their Andrews Sisters vocal trio, the Silver Belles, as we step back in time with 1940s classic hits of the big band era. THE CONCERT IS ON MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 7, ONLY.

The Silver Tones small ensemble will be performing two sets of big band classics at the Fauquier Bank plaza in beautiful historic Warrenton, Virginia. Guests are invited to bring their own chairs and enjoy the first live performance by the band since February! Please space chairs six feet apart to practice social distancing. There is no admission to this event, but tips are greatly appreciated. Because the bank is closed during the performance, there will be no public restrooms. However, there are several restaurants within walking distance of the concert site.

Love will be in the air, as the band plays all your romantic Big Band favorites, including The Way You Look Tonight, I'm in the Mood for Love, L-O-V-E, I Love Being Here With You, Love Potion #9, and so many others. Make a free dedication of a song to your sweetheart (playlist will be provided). Special guest vocalist, Aaron Talley, will be joining us to serenade all the sweethearts with his velvet voice! The Marshall Community Center is located at 4133 Rectortown Road, less than a mile off I-66, exit 28. Complimentary Valentine's Day sweets will be served. Refresher/beginner swing dance lesson with swing instructor Valerie Pyle starts at 7 pm. Lansdowne Woods is opening up their New Year's Eve celebration to followers of the Silver Tones. During the event, Personal Chef, Scott Cruz, will present two displays of heavy hors d'oeuvres and a third presentation of desserts. This is a BYOB event and mixers are provided. The Silver Tones will be performing three sets of big band hits to keep you partying and ring in 2020 right! There will be a champagne toast at midnight and doors will open at 8:15 p.m. Lansdowne Woods is a gated community so preregistration is a must. This special masquerade dance will begin with a 45-minute swing dance lesson by world-renown swing dancer Ewa Burak. At 7:45 pm, the powerhouse Silver Tones will begin three sets of high-energy big band swing! One complimentary glass of BVW wine and the dance lesson are included in admission. Food will be available for purchase, to compliment your Blue Valley wine. A dance partner is not required; there will be skilled swing dancers on-site to help you practice your moves. And if dancing isn’t your thing, just enjoy the great sounds of the Silver Tones and take in the breathtaking views at Blue Valley Vineyard. Costumes are recommended but not required for attendance. Enjoy a vintage display and a beginner swing dance lesson from 7 to 8 pm, followed by three sets of big band swing classics by the Silver Tones from 8 to 11 pm. Admission is $16 in advance through Eventbrite and $20 at the door. There will be a soda shop fountain and ice cream floats of all flavors, too! Bear Bone BBQ will be onsite to serve delicious foods and beer and wine will be available for purchase! Also, there will be a silent auction and a basket raffle that you could win for as little as $1. On the third Friday of each September, the sleepy little town of Edinburg comes alive with a festival of music, arts, crafts, parade, entertainment, and great food. Step back to the 1950s with the Silver Tones Swing Band at an Ole Time Sock Hop on Saturday night complete with poodle skirts, saddle shoes, and cool cats in leather jackets! To add to the nostalgia, the dance will be held in a school gym built in the 1930s. Tickets are only $10 at the door, and there will be a dance lesson at 7:00 and dance demo at the band break. The band will be set up in front of the courthouse on Main Street starting at 6:30 pm and will play two sets of great Big Band swing! There will be a parade of military veterans and service members starting on Fifth Street at 6:15 pm and the honorees will march down Main Street to the courthouse. ​The Silver Tones are proud to join forces with the Center for the Arts to bring audiences and music lovers the chance to learn to swing dance. This dance is part of the three-day art festival, One Love: Celebration of Life with the Arts---a celebration of life and our diverse artistic community. The band will be joined by world-renowned swing dancer and teacher, eWa Burak, for a night of lively swing music and fun. The perfect venue for the dance is the Center for the Arts, located in the historic Hopkins Candy Factory building, which features a ballroom with a premium “floating” wood dance floor on its third level. eWa Burak will teach a 45-minute lesson starting at 7:15 pm, followed by three sets of big band classics by the Silver Tones. The Silver Tones are excited to bring their music to Fauquier High School in 2019 for a fundraiser swing dance! This dance's theme is swingin' sock hop and will include a complimentary dance lesson by swing dance teacher, Valerie Pyle, and two hours of live entertainment by the Silver Tones. Come dressed in your best 1950s vintage attire, including poodle skirts, saddle shoes, leather jackets, and slicked-back hair! There will be a prize for best 1950s costume. Beginner dancers are encouraged to attend, and no partner is needed. There will be plenty of seating for those who just want to listen to the great sounds of the Silver Tones and watch the dancing! This dance will include a raffle to win a chance to sing a song with the band plus other great prizes. Guests are encouraged to take parts in a hula hooping contest, limbo contest, and bubble gum blowing contest...all free to enter. All proceeds will benefit the Fauquier High School Band and Theater programs. There will be plenty of seating for those who just want to listen to the great sounds of the Silver Tones and watch the dancing! This dance will include a raffle to win a chance to sing a song with the band. There will also be a silent auction and other great raffle prizes. The second set will start with a dance contest, and all veterans who attend will be recognized and honored. All proceeds will benefit the Liberty High School band program. Bluemont prefers to hold their concerts outside if possible. Summer weather can change quickly and is sometimes hard to predict.
